Members are advised that on Mondays that are not affected by 9-hole course closures and/or public holidays, the first official tee time will be 8.00am off the first and tenth tees.
As our golf course is getting busier, our superintendent, Neal Ward and his team are finding it extremely difficult to complete their wetting agent program on Mondays around the golfers on the course.
As conditions continue to get drier and drier, it is imperative that we keep up this routine as it will improve our overall water efficiency and the quality of our golf course.
By moving back the tee times back by an hour, the team will be able to complete their routine more efficiently without negatively affecting our patrons’ experiences out on course.
Golfers that choose to tee off ahead of this official start time will be required to give way to the staff completing their program, ensuring that those that have done the right thing by booking in will not be impinged. You also may be wet by sprinklers following the application!
