Seven of our lady members represented Pinjarra Golf Club at the last official event of WABLGA held at Western Australian Golf Club on Sunday November 9.
The West Australian Business Ladies Golf Association was established in 1979, enabling working women and juniors to play golf on the weekend.
100 past and present members participated. We were well represented by Hayley Rasmussen who was runner up in the gross. WABLGA has committed to provide a pathway into senior competition and were very supportive of her progress.
PGC has been a strong supporter of WABLGA over the year with Steph Brakespeare, Sam Vongyer and Lexie Sutton having service on the organisation’s committee. Marg Sweetman was an inaugural committee member of WABLGA and a member of Pinjarra Golf Club for many years.
Congratulations to Hayley and to WABLGA for the contribution they have made to women’s golf all over WA.

Stacy Dhu won the WABLGA Patsy Best and Maureen Thomas Trophy – for the lowest gross qualifying score for the WABLGA Championship for 2025 (best two out of three scores).
This is the third time that Stacy has won this prestigious award – 2020, 2024 and 2025

Winners are grinners! Maureen Thomas and Stacy in 2025.

A big congratulations to you too Stacy for etching so much history into the Western Australian Business Ladies Golf Association!
