The Board at Pinjarra Golf Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Heron as the new Golf Operations Manager (formally known as Club Pro).
Jim is a full member of the PGA and has been in the Golf Industry for over 30 years, and up until January 2020, was the Golf Operations Manager at Wembley Golf Complex for 7 years.
After that he pursued an overseas adventure in Burma in which was responsible for setting up a teaching program to individuals and local schools. This was cut short due to the COVID outbreak and had to return to Australia.
Additionally, Jim has also worked as a teaching Pro at The Cut, Head Pro at Araluen, Director of Golf at courses in China and Singapore, as well working at the Vines and Hillview Golf Clubs.
Jim will start on the 6th April and is looking forward to meeting all our members and helping grow Pinjarra Golf Club.
