COVID-19 – Member AND Guest advice

On Sunday, 22nd March, the Australian Government announced a closure – from midday, Monday, 23rd March – of all pubs, licenced clubs, bars, restaurants and cafes (dining in), cinemas, casinos, places of worship gyms and indoor sporting venues.
Therefore, the Clubhouse has been closed, and we have been advised that NO alcohol sales can be made from the ProShop, as it forms part of our licence.  This will be in effect until further notice.

Proshop Operations:

The following procedures now must be adopted by members to ensure this Club can remain open.

Members are asked to adhere to these procedures, and to follow direction of Staff and Board.  There is zero tolerance to non compliance, abuse or disregard of these directives.

  • Social distancing rules are in place. Please observe these at all times whilst in Proshop.
  • The Clubhouse is closed.  The walkway to toilets is open, toilet doors are to remain wedged open.
  • ALCOHOL CAN NOT BE SERVED BY THE CLUB ANYWHERE.  This will be policed by the Police.
  • No more than 6 people (including staff) in the pro shop at any one time.  To help with this, the sliding door is to be locked (either glass or flyscreen) and all members to use front doors only. This rule applies to everyone, and if you are asked to leave or wait, please respect the staff that are doing their job.
  • All towels, sunscreen etc (shared items) have been removed.
  • There is now a Tea and coffee station set up in Pro shop.  Tea and Coffee is $2.00 per cup, and we are relying on the honesty of members to pay for their cups.
  • Sandwiches will be available for sale in the Proshop, but there will be a limited supply. If the Proshop runs out of sandwiches, we apologise in advance if you miss out.

These are very uncertain times and we are doing our best to comply with all the relevant guidelines from the Government, Racing and Gaming, Golf WA/Australia, Clubs WA/Australia and the PGA.  Things are rapidly changing, and we are doing our best to keep up and keep everyone informed.  Further updates will follow once we receive them.
